What
is the film about?
The
film is about the clash of two different viewpoints, one of the lover
and the other of the father, and an eventual agreement in typical Dil
Raju family film style.
Dil
Raju family type film- is the film preachy?
Yes
partially, but is much funnier and have some really good dialogues.
Is
this a complete love story?
The
film is more of a family drama with love at its center ala a Bommarillu
but gets repetitive after a point.
How
are the performances?
Nara
Rohit has superb voice, which was evident in Baanam itself, but
performance wise he still has a long way to go. Heroine is as
expressionless as any other heroines out there, but Nisha Agarwal wins
the award for most expressionless one. All the senior actors Prakash
Raj, Ranganath, Rao Ramesh, Jayasudha etc do their routine. But the
stand out one from the film is Srinivas Reddy; he makes the film lively
whenever he is on screen with his impeccable comic timing.
Will
Parasuram become a big director?
He
has all the qualities to become a big director in future. His biggest
asset is his dialogues. They have the punch and effectively convey the
point that it is meant too. Only thing he needs to learn to know where
to end a particular point. He keeps going on with his dialogues which
makes even the good ones boring in the end.
What
about the music, can Mani Sharma regain his lost touch?
Mani
Sharma has given nice music that goes with the mood of the film, not
all songs are good but few are nice. His Background music though is very
good.
What
about the producer?
If
one hasn’t seen the title credits or one hasn’t read the name on the
posters then they could pretty much have mistaken this for a Dil Raju
movie. The production values and set designs, actors etc reminds one of a
Dil Raju produced movie. Coming to the film for a first time producer
Vamsi Krishna did maintain very good production values.
Bottom-line
It is watch-able once.
