It has been reported in various channels that top director Maniratnam’s new film starring renowned kollywood star Kartik’s son Gautam and beauty on ‘Dookudu’ Samantha in lead role is titled ‘Pookadai’. Buzz is a new director Satish, disciple of Saran approached directors association claiming that ‘Pookadai’ title was registered under his name 5yrs back and he had already started shooting film with that name. Maniratnam’s close aides quickly issued a statement that they never announced the film’s title as ‘Pookadai’ and sought to blame media for entire issue. Sources say the film now may be titled as ‘Kaadal’ and will be having AR.Rahman as music director.
