Job Role: IT Quality Interm Analyst
Job Summary :
1. The primary responsibility is to verify, using automated tools whenever possible, the functionality associated with Citi’s Smart Order Router
2. Analyze functional requirements to ensure requirements are clear and testable.
3. When anomalies are encountered, analyze and identify the root cause
4. Write well structured test cases and test suites that thoroughly test the application and verify that it contains functionality described in the specifications
5. Write test scripts based on functional requirements
6. Assist in the creation of test tools / test harnesses
Qualifications
1. Industry Experience: equity trading, matching engines, Smart Order Router
2. Knowledge of the following is required:
a. FIX
b. SQL
c. QA Test Environments / processes
3. Ability to write well structured test cases and test suites that thoroughly test a feature or application and verify that it contains the functionality described in the specifications
4. Scripting experience with Perl, Shell, VBScript, JAVA would be a strong plus.
5. Ability to work independently on multiple projects
6. Some Knowledge of the following is required:
a. Stress/Performance Testing
b. Server operating systems including Linux and Windows.
