Job Description:
The role holder is responsible under supervision, for processing various transactions in accordance with applicable procedures, service standards and operational instructions.
Receive and deal efficiently and effectively with customer enquiries and transaction requests.
Initiate resolution of customer requirements, process transactions within scope; notify Team Leader for escalation.
Record and identify process improvement opportunities and communicate feedback to Team Leader.Is responsible for all balancing, compliance and reporting activity that may be appropriate to the unit/department in which he/she is working.
Is responsible for maintaining accurate and up to date activity records.
Processing and Decision making as per the Departmental Operating Instructions manual and within the timeliness and accuracy standards specified.
Continuous Improvement in Productivity to the standards prescribed from time to time.
Adhere to laid out processes and procedures while completing process actions
Identify errors and omissions resulting from routine process actions and proactively mitigates
Ensure appropriate and adequate documentation is in place for process actions
Priorities and schedule own work accordingly to meet workload peaks and troughs
Communicate own work plan issues and escalates potential bottle-necks
