Job Role: Credit Analyst
Job Summary :
• Responsible for collection of receivables using established collection procedures on a portfolio of customer accounts.
• Maintain a smooth functioning of credit portfolio – supplying responsive, process-effective services to internal and external customers.
• Contact customers on past due invoices and perform resolution of disputed invoices.
• Perform invoice and account reconciliation for Unapplied Cash, Credit.
• Participate as a member of the credit/collection team. Interfaces with a variety of functional areas at various business sites related to customer disputes, invoice copies, proof of deliveries, contract/PO issues, etc.
• Understand the Honeywell business/industry/products/services that are being marketed.
• Understand and supports performance reporting, identifying service opportunities, etc.
• Understand existing policies and procedures (process maps) to ensure compliance for each business unit.
• Understand Sarbanes Oxley control policies and its application to GCTS and ensure compliance.
• Review delinquent accounts on a regular basis to determine root causes.


Qualifications
• Prior experience in credit or collections is preferable but not mandatory
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently, and ethically with both internal and external customers required.
• Goal oriented, motivated self-starter, with excellent organizational skills & the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• PC skills including both Access and Excel, and experience with other Microsoft Office products: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Basic understanding of WAN and applications running in a WAN environment.
• Exposure to ERP applications is preferred.
• Strong problem solving, interpersonal, and financial analysis skills.
• Basic understanding of the importance of process oriented & metrics driven operations/functions with the ability to read & analyze simple process maps & flow diagrams.
• Basic Six Sigma knowledge is preferred
• Candidate must be willing to work in a night shift
